Unlike the rest of the family, Yasuko left Kyushu to start a life in Tokyo in her early adult years, as she was fiercely independent and adventurous. She became a nurse. However, her father became terminally ill around this time, which took Yasuko back to Kyushu, where she used her newly earned nursing skills and took care of her father until he passed away. Shortly thereafter, she returned to Tokyo to resume her life. However at some point, she left nursing, and became a model/actress.
