Yasuko, I will always remember the kindness you showed me as you introduced me to the Japanese way of life. I will never know how you drove that car through those narrow little streets so fast.... and safely...with the steering wheel on the "wrong" side! And the wonderful foods you could prepare always made quite an impression. In the grand scheme of things, our paths crossed rather briefly, but I will always remember you and your warmth and generosity.
